Had the pleasure of meeting Jason tonight as he's staying with a friend of mine while he's playing at this weeks Europro event in Bristol.

Thoroughly nice bloke, good Craic and I will be following his golf game with interest.

Even gave me a drill to help with my lag putting.

Cheers mate! (and for the balls too!)

Thats what makes this forum so good.
People are always willing to help, and usually very friendly with it.
I take my hat off to you you John for helping Jason with the accommodation, and to Jason for giving you something in return, and of course to your mate for letting a total stranger stay at his house.
Long may it continue.
Now then anyone got any spare cash please? :)

Did you check he had his V-Easy with him?

I didn't have to, he took it out of his bag to show me before I asked!

He also has the 2nd shortest putter in the world (Rob Garrigus being the shortest).

Tony, you're right mate, I was explaining this to my mate last night (who Jason's staying with). He was ripping into me for being an internet golf geek posting on here, but I explained why it was so awesome. And fair play to him for offering his spare room to Jason. I put a post up on facebook saying "Any bristol mates fancy letting a golf pro mate (using that term loosly!) of mine stay for a couple of nights next week"...20 minutes later the ball was rolling.

Fair play to all 3 of you, yourself for trying to find someone, your friend for stepping up to the plate and Jason for being a great bloke, I hope a lot of karma comes your way.

Jon thanks for your kind words, it was great to meet you and also I really appreciate you doing what you did for me and big thanks to Pete. I hope the putting tip works, I think I will be doing a lot of that myself after this week.

I am also looking forward to getting a game with you at some point.

Bob the V easy is always in the bag and getting a lot of use as this is the area that is currently really holding me back, my season average of just over 34 putts is a killer.

putting is like the dark arts, one round it can be bang on, next day its as if one had never been on a green before :)

At least you know what to work on and as its your profession you have the time to work on it

Good luck for future events and nice one Aztecs for helping out, not a bad bloke after all ;)
