While we’re all aware the coverage of the masters......whatever channels you watch....is decided by them yanks. Did anyone see one single shot from Matt Kouchar who was playing with Jason Day. Between makng cups of tea, I never knew Kouchar was on the park until the 18th. Koucher finished on the same score as Westwood and we seen plenty of him.

I thought the same last night Tommo.

I found it a little strange, I think I saw one shot from Kooch, and that was his tee shot at the 12th.

yes, good observation!

Just as well it wasnt Tiger :smirk:

Apart from the obvious leaders, I wonder how they decide who to show and who to omit

No, but there wasn't much coverage of the players around his mark either - Huh, Johnson etc.

I know he faded away badly but not a peep out of Tim Clark either who was playing with Tiger. I know it's hectic to try and please everybody, but would have been nice to see a bit more variety!

Jason Day seemed to get every shot covered when it looked like he might snatch it. We didn't start getting a proper look at Scotty until the back nine I don't think?!

no i think scott was covered well all the way round yesterday. they're in a hard position they cant show everyone and have to focus on the players in contention.

If they tried to show more shots from more players it would be difficult to follow the real story. Lets say they showed 10 shots each of 5 other players. That's 100 shots you don't see of the leaders who are the ones you really want to see and we'd probably have a thread complaining that we didn't see enough of them and why are we seeing the also rans.

Kuchar didn't really get in the hunt. Langer was dropped from coverage once he made a few errors. I agree that I'd rather see the leaders and those making a late charge rather those not in the hunt unless they produce something special like holing out or a hole in one

Same observation as you Tommo.....I thought it was bad form by them....But to be honest i dont think that anything the American Media does now can surprise me.....

Obviously 10 x 5 is 50. I originally put 10 x 10 but decided to change it !
