Japanese Goodies

I`m in Japan at the moment, with the intention of visiting a few golf shops for things out of the ordinary.

Was in one general sports shop today looking at golf gear, their range of Adidas clothing was phenominal, certainly in comparison to what`s on offer in the UK. And a lot of it was on sale, got a couple of smart shirts that I haven`t seen online anywhere else, even on Adidas` own golf website, and a magnetic ball marker with belt clip. Could have bought more, but must save pennies, still 2 weeks to go. Will go back for more if I haven`t spent everything in other golf shops, I mean on wifey Shame the exchange rate is so bad at the moment, everything is double compared to last time I was here .

Was back in there yesterday without wifey, could of spent a lot more but couldn`t bring myself to try the bright pink or green trousers. I need to be a bit better to even contemplate wearing things like that, which I wouldn`t.....ever. Interestingly, all of the trousers (Adidas, Nike and a host of others) are made in one length, unfinished, none of this regular 32" only rubbish that doesn`t fit us taller chaps. They have two old ladies sitting there with a sewing machine, they measure you up and adjust the length in a couple of mins before you take them to the till. Beware guys, very bright colours are apparently in this year, best to avoid unless you want to look like a rainbow walking around the course.


Found an outlet mall yesterday with both Adidas Golf and Taylormade shops, going over on Monday.
