What was your jammiest par of the season?
On our 6th (380 or so yards) I duck hooked 3 wood off tee into gorse, 2 clublength penalty drop out into semi, half sclaffed 3 iron up into right semi 50 yards short and then holed a wonderful wee lob wedge for par! Went down as a 4 on card -went all the way up the hole in a rage and finished it delighted! What a silly game.

Strathclyde Park 5th hole .... 288yds

Playing with choppers from work I knocked my drive downtown and they were in stitches. They popped their tee shots and I reloaded, drove the green and knocked in the 20ft putt.

I think me words were:

"GET IT RIGHT UP YEEZ YA W******"

In one of the club comps.7th on the Buddon Links. Tree lined 405yds S/I1.
Pushed my drive in to the woods, hit a provisional and pulled it in to the tree on the other side. Went steaming down the fairway in a big huff. Ventured into the trees just in case I could see it in there and miraculously found it sitting nice. Chopped it out backwards onto the fairway and left myself about 170 where I proceeded to hit a 7 iron to about 12ft and holed out.
I could see that my opponent was crushed by this and went on to win the match.(went out next round though.)

Happened a few years ago in Turvey North County Dublin-during a winter society outing, when it was still a 9 hole track. Duck Hooked driver on the old 5th way left into the rough, Pushed an 8 iron way right, hit another 8 iron right of the green towards a tree next to the green, ball hits the tree and rolled down a branch across the green and stopped 12 inches from the pin. sunk the putt for the par.

Par 3 10th at short course in Kent (approx 150yds). Hived tee shot out of bounds, (GUTTED). Reload holed second tee shot for par!!!!!

Effective hole in one, but didn't have to buy the drinks for the privilege, now that's jammy!

I was with you 'til "rolled down a branch" then you lost me. Sorry.
I have NEVER seen a ball "roll down a branch"

my brother hit it into tree a while back and the ball was perched on a branch.
he wished it had rolled down it.

Played the royal at Vilamoura and was on a par four with houses on left about 3 foot from fairway. Sliced ball which would normally go about 200 yards into the bunder but thanks to new apartments hit the side of house, bounced off and hit a gardener who then threw the ball back onto the fairway to land smack in middle of fairway about 50 yards ahead of my two playing partners he he he nicely lining up my approach shot.

Come on lads after my escapades i could have easily missed that tiddler.

Atticus-as it was winter there were no leaves or impediments to the ball-it was the most jammiest shot ever and i am still embarassed by it. I was playing with my best frield and he still brings it up just to embarass me.

Playing the 15th at Crieff 90 degree dog leg virtually off the tee.

Tried to cut the corner, duffed it into long grass, very near to a ditch, hacked it down to the corner with a wedge.

Hit a 3 wood onto the green and drained the 30 foot putt for my four.
