It's been asked on several threads - How can anyone not like this weather?

Well I've had enough of it!

Sleeping is virtually impossible, you try and do something more energetic than breathing and you start melting and it's hard to concentrate...

The Golf Course is bone dry too...

It doesn't need to be this hot.

24 degrees is more than enough.
Warm enough so those that want to get their legs out can - although, seriously, most of you really shouldn't - but not too hot so you can actually do something without the risk of Sun or Heat Stroke....

Grumpy - Me?

Couldn't care less

I've had enough!

Resorted to glugging some night nurse in the last two nights to try and drop off. HID moved to spare room as we were cooking just lying on top of the bed and even then neither of us could sleep. Windows open is fine until the dawn chorus starts. I agree. Cool nights and cooler days with the sun still here.

was 43 in Spain last week.... scorchio and the nights werent much better, luckily ith no work in the morning a few pints of amstel washed down with a cocktail or 2 is an amazing sedative ;)

stop whinging and enjoy, it will soon be baltic again :p

20 is more than enough for me, as long as it's dry it can go a lot lower and I won't be concerned. A week of scorchio temperatures on holiday every year is sufficient for me.

I absolutely love it. Outside shorts and T-Shirt bung on a nice white light weight trilby to keep the sun of my barnet with shades on and enjoy. Couldn't careless what i look just nice to be able to enjoy the weather, as for sleeping windows open and fan on sorted. Dawn chorus matters not a jot to me i could sleep on a washing line surrounded by dock workers swearing away cranking the loading up on tankers.

enjoy it whilst it lasts you"ll all soon be moaning its to wet and cold to play soon. But then I'm weird as i love the cold and wet to, tbh I just love being out in fresh air whatever the weather l, plus the upside is ladies in summer clothing

Have been on Harris since Saturday. It's wet and windy; I haven't seen the sun since I got here. Can't believe I'm spending my holiday in the only place in the uk not basking in a glorious summer. Rumour is Friday might be nice. Whoop de doo!
