Being one of nature's shorter types and not being a big hitter I've always envied taller guys with their 'longer levers'. But I've come up with the answer, High Heels:whoo:

Not six inch heels of course as I need to retain balance but maybe three inches would make the difference.

Just need to find a maker of golf shoes with three inch heels...and work out what to do when I reach the green:fore:

I must have added about a foot to my swing width with a couple of lessons and drills on it. It gained me a club distance easily in my irons.

I would love to see the stats with and without the shoes on a launch monitor... mmm statistics

you off work today:rolleyes:

Longer shafts would work better. I'm in the middle of an experiment just now. Bought a set of Mizuno MX 23 irons with lite shafts. They swing very light, even though they're ½" longer than standard. I've added another inch. They still swing fine & I'm 1½ clubs longer with them. You should try it.

Thats been the TM philosophy for a long time- longer yes but much less control

Can't work out if this is 100% serious but surely you can Tom Cruise like inserts if it's really going to make a difference. Not sure how comfy it would be walking 18 holes like that
