I have tried BBC Iplayer before to watch topgear, and have been very impressed with the speed, quality, etc. Now my dvd recorder was supposed to record the ice dancing prog for Mrs Mog while we were at Carmina Burana at the O2 on Sunday, but for some reason it didn't happen.

Not a problem, we can watch it on the ITVplayer web site, thinks me, but no, rubbish. It takes 15 minutes to down load the adverts, for each 3 minute dance, and after the 15 minutes to down load the ads, takes another 15 to down load the 3 minute prog. RUBBISH.

On BBC Iplayer, I can watch in real time.

Not impressed, and I can't see why ITV thinks this is acceptable.

I haven't used ITV either but agree that BBC iplayer is very good seen as its free - very user friendly and quick.

Not sure if people are aware but I found out recently that www.virginmedia.com have a similar thing for sport - show highlights of all premier league football, think they have some rugby, golf, other sports on there as well so worth checking out!
