last monday saw the start of the TT on sky ,anyone watch it .i quite like watching it for the array of swings you see. it makes you wonder how some of them get the ball off the end of the tee box.

Watching it in anticipation of my appearance in it next year. Local lad I was talking to last week played in this years comp at Worsley and the two's at Hull.

With the price it is compared to Mid Ams around the country I don't know why people enter it ?

The courses aren't the best , it seems very restrictive in regards what people have to wear and times they need to be on the tee etc ?

Is it because there might be the smallest chance of being on telly ? They aren't qualifiers ? There have been obvious issues over the years in regards the dubious Handicaps people have.

What's the appeal now with the TT especially with the amount of opens and mid Ams on offer for really great prices

Before we go any further, can I just say that this thread comes up every year and it always degenerates into personal criticism of the organiser.
By all means discuss the event , pros and cons, but any personal comments against the organiser will be dealt with harshly.

Thank you

Couldn't agree more. Notts open was £60 yesterday

This could be in the Out of Bounds section, where there is a thread "Worst Programme on TV."
