My putting has been a bit shonky of late. In my last few rounds I have concentrated on keeping my head very still, on short putts I listen for them dropping and on long ones I wait till there out of my peripheral vision before looking round.
All I can say is try it.

Keeping your head still for putting is a very good idea. Also the hips! Ideally, the only movement should be the pendulum one of the shoulders rocking with enough 'extra' movement to allow the appropriate arc, if any.

I think that keeping the head very still has a knock on effect on everything else.
