Masters Monday and the players are making their way up Magnolia Lane today. Amateurs moving into the Crows Nest which must be the most exclusive accommodation in the world. The Champions Dinner and Par 3 contest. Then the main event on Thursday.

I am so looking forward to this all.
 
Cannot wait, I absolutely love it. My goal is to one day manage to blag a ticket to watch it out there, the missus seems keen as well so that's half the battle won!!!

I've got all my bets down, I now hope to not be interupted for the 4 days so I can watch it in peace.

The BBC's coverage isn't too great again this year. They are only showing live TV coverage on Saturday and Sunday. I wish it was possible to subscribe to Sky's coverage just for the week of the Masters.

BBC TV will have live action over the weekend, BBC Radio 5 live will have live commentary on all four days and the BBC Sport website will have full online text commentary throughout, plus a stream of action from Amen Corner and holes 15 and 16 at the weekend.

Tuesday 9 April (all times BST)

2012 Masters Review : 1415-1510, BBC Two and BBC HD.

Wednesday 10 April

2013 Masters Preview : 2320-0000, BBC Two and BBC HD.

Thursday 11 April

Live: from 2100 - BBC Radio 5 live commentary, plus full online text commentary throughout the opening day.

Mark Chapman will host 5 live's coverage alongside correspondent Iain Carter, commentators John Murray and Alistair Bruce-Ball, and expert analysts Andrew Magee and Jay Townsend.

Hazel Irvine presents live coverage of the third round of the 77th Masters from the world famous Augusta National course.

It's getting to the business end of things in Georgia where this time last year Peter Hanson emerged as a surprise leader with a third-round 65.

Commentary comes from Peter Alliss, Ken Brown, Andrew Cotter and Wayne Grady. Rishi Persad provides reports from on the course.

There's also uninterrupted BBC Radio 5 live commentary from 2100, plus full online text commentary throughout the third day. BBC Sport Online will also show coverage of Amen Corner. This will then switch to holes 15 and 16 when the final group is through the 13th.

Hazel Irvine presents live coverage of the fourth and final round of the 77th Masters from the world famous Augusta National course.

Fingers crossed for a repeat of the nailbiting excitement of last year where American Bubba Watson ensured he was the man heading to the Butler Cabin to collect his green jacket after winning a play-off with Louis Oosthuizen.

The left-handed American's incredible approach to the second play-off hole, from the trees to the right of the fairway, will live long in the memory.

Do what I do - call them today and order Sky Sports, then call them tomorrow and cancel it. They have a 30-day (or 31, can't remember) cancellation period, so you only have it for a month and The Players is on in early May, so you'll get that too.

Last time I did it, for the Ryder Cup, they gave me a discount, so I got the Ryder Cup and another month's worth of golf on Sky for £16. Even without the discount, I don't think £21 to watch The Master and The Players is a terrible deal.

I know it's not the same as watching it on a big TV, but there's an iPhone/iPad app which gives you SS1, SS2, SS3, SS4, F1, ESPN and At The Races for £4.99 a month.
I find on an iPad at arms length it's very watchable.

Yep! No sleep this week for me! And the first golf I would have watched all year. Can't beat Masters week!

Interesting - which App is that? I have a sky sports subscription but my wife and daughter have to go to bed before I can watch the golf.

That's actually very reasonable. Not HD but the feeds on the iPad are more than adequate.

You're not allowed to watch it mate as you haven't played the prerequisite 10 rounds of golf in the last 6 months ;)... Seriously though, how much have you played since we played at Woburn last year?

I have played precisely 6 rounds of golf since then! So close, yet so far. I'm playing Saturday morning though, if that counts?
