"Sometimes out of that 1st cut at the Masters you have to take an extra club. I only had like 190 yards to the hole but I hit 5 iron" - Justin Rose

An extra club from 190 out of the rough for me simply doesn't exist

In all truth we shouldn't even contemplate the possibility of thinking about comparing the game we play to that which the likes of Rose and Rory play.

They play a different game so its an irrelevancy. Take what you to give you the best chance with the next shot. All you can do at our level

I don't but sometimes when you hear them talk so matter of factly about it its hard to comprehend that we're playing the same game.

190 yard 5 iron ? 190 about a 7/8 iron for Pro's

I hit my 5 iron around 190 and I don't believe I hit the ball that far

Average PGA 5 Iron - 194 carry

Average PGA Tour 6 Iron - 183 carry.

This was the averages in 2010!

190 out the rough - Easy Pitching Wedge :temper:

Only on this forum could the guy who just finished tied second at the masters be questioned over going up a club to 5i on a190yd shot
