It's easy this golf when it all clicks.

A new PB for me today round my home course.

+9 gross, 58 nett for 49 points! 10 pars 1 double and 7 bogeys, pared all 3 par 5's and nothing higher than a gross 5 on the card so I'm seriously happy with how consistent it was.

Even had a 10-12 foot putt on the 18th lip out for a gross 79.

Anyway that's me finished blowing my own trumpet

Complete opposite to my last 2 rounds where I only scored 24 points!

Although the ball doesn't go as far at this time of the year, I wonder if lots of us get good scores because the ball sticks wherever we hit it? What do others think?

Someone said to me on Saturday " your driving is great, you didn't miss a fairway today" well says i "very happy, with that part of my game and don't have to work on driving at all"

Went out Sunday lost a load of balls off the tee and hardly hit one fairway.

yes this is true. at the minute it is still clean and place around our course and i find it really easy because i always have a perfect lie. on sat the comp is off the whites so the course will be playing loooong.

I loose a lot of distance in winter because I have a really high ball flight so I rarely get much run due the fairways being a bit soft.

Oh I know golf is a game you will never truly crack but a small change in my swing has made a big diffrence and has give me a lot more confidence.

Nope just a friendly round, our season starts on April 1st so hopefully it's a good sign of things to come.
