Played Lostwithiel today and played below my handicap but it could have been so much better. On the front nine i managed to come in just 5 over with 5 pars :), three bogeys and a double on the seventh.
On the back nine I come in 14 over but had a few bad holes that ruined my card. Included in that was 4 pars, 1 bogey 2 doubles and the worst holes an 8 on a par 4 after i hit my drive out of bounds and a 10:angry: on a par five where i attempted to hit a shot over a tall tree, that went tragically wrong, but hey ho, you learn by your mistakes.
Am looking forward to playing in our stableford on Saturday where i can hopefully keep my current form going and get that cut I'm chasing.

Daymond, that would be the par 3 8th. Great hole and no, i've never hit it on the railway track, Homer, all but perfect conditions down Lostwithiel with very little wind, unlike my home course where the wind always seems to blowing making it play a lot longer.
