took my mate out for a round on Friday, his first proper round of golf, he was very nervous having had no lessons and only about 30mins on the range before hand.
low and behold, 1st tee he asked to borrow my driver (only having irons) and he creamed it straight as an arrow longer than the rest of us in the 4 ball who'd been playing since March!
he couldn't hit the irons off the deck for toffee but every driver he hit was bang on.

Ping G5.. possibly the easiest, most forgiving driver in the world?? ;)

It's quite frustrating when that happens!

Never mind, he'll soon be as bad as the rest of us once he starts to think about the game.

that is frustrating but he must have a natural talent, I have seen many people in the same position taking 10 shots to get past the ladies tees (but no, I have never seen any of them get their willies out)
