So how does this game work then????

Over the weekend, from the whites, I start with 6 straight pars and end up shooting 9 over par 80.

Today, off the yellows, I start with 7 bogeys and end up shooting 7 over par 78

I just don't get it.....................

It's the tale you tell above which makes you come back for more Imurg.
Another one is playing a completely pants round then hitting a cracking drive on the 18th!

Its funny how playing a hole from one tee can fit the eye better than from another position or tee can feel completely different or work completely differently.

Sometimes playing a hole from the back tee means you will plant your drive in a better position, than from the forward tee.

Interesting though that you managed to make up 9 shots over the rest of the round, after the 7 straight bogeys

Heres a couple I have done so you dont feel alone lol. One day I was 3 under gross after 7 holes with a 6 ft putt for an eagle on the 8th and I managed to finish 11 over.lol.
Another round on the same course I was 9 over after 9 holes and finished 6 over at the end.

I so wish the front 9 and back 9 would come on the same day......hang on, I might be about 20 over lol!
