Its a funny old game!

Had a round this morning and have not been playing well for the last couple of months, 9 handicap but consistently playing to around 14-15. Decided to try something different, took my homemade putter out that is discussed in a previous thread, Md forged superstrong irons that i have shot my best score with but cannot hit now and have not used for 4 months, changed my Ftiq driver shaft from an Aldila Nv65s to a Fujikara item that i was constantly pull hooking 6 months ago when last used. Putts sunk all day, driver straight and long and irons peppering the pin from 150 in, 5 birdies, went round in 75 with a 5 on the par 3 18th. This weekend was the monthly stapleford comp and i chose not to enter today as i was using clubs that i had not used for months!!! Entering tommorow and needless to say will be keeping my bag the same.

Is the homemade putter legal?

Should be made illegal according to my playing partners
