It just clicked

Hi everyone,

Just wanted to share my recent experience and find out if it has happened to anyone else. I've been playing golf since November and consistently been shooting between 98 - 105. I've recently had some lessons and bedded in some changes and its just clicked, the last 2 rounds I have shot an 87 and an 84. I know the lessons have definitely helped and every shot I stand over I just feel confident. To say I'm happy would be an understatement!! Has this happened to anyone else? Have you found its just 'clicked'?

Yes I have. It just all seems to come together. Wonderful feeling. Problem is it can unclick as well. Last night on the driving range was a prime example. Hit about twenty draws with the 6 iron all around the pin area. Went for a brew, came back and it was like I'd never picked up a golf club before. Very frustrating.

Definitely know where you're coming from though. Hitting the sweet spot on every shot and that feeling when your swing is near perfect is unbeatable.

I have had it before, but currently in the reverse of clicking! Playing worse than I did a year ago! Waiting for that click!!!

Ah yes I remember those days! Haven't had too many in the past few months, but I know the golfing gods will shine down on me one day. Great feeling.

Funny... I played today and well it seemed to click! Must have been this thread.

It's great when it does, I then go out full of optimism and it in clicks just as fast usually!
