Well after a year of inconsistent rounds,stupid mistakes and just general lack of concentration

Yesterday I broke 80 in a medal 78 net 65 , despite a double bogey ,Bogey , bogey , double bogey start after that I just played beautifully , I'm actually still in a state of shock ,my long irons were just the sweetest thing ever ,even producing a wow from my playing partners

I've replayed the 1st 4 holes in my head numerous times the 1st was a disaster , the 2/3/4 all 3putts

Some of my best rounds have started badly. I think you start badly so just get into the mindset of enjoying the rest of your round, so you relax and start to play well.

well done though, that's a good score after that sort of start

I've replayed the 1st 4 holes in my head numerous times the 1st was a disaster , the 2/3/4 all 3putts

try and learn from them briefly if you made mistakes in judgement or technique issues but then quickly forget them and as williamalex said remember all the good shots. Write down your best 5 in detail and relive them a few times each day.

Been cut to 11.6 bloody hell , I think it's right about the bad start making me relax , I've been working on always trying to leave myself make able putts , I didn't do that to start with , but the best thing was I played the par 3s in one under that's genuinely incredible for me
