is this man fit to be our Ryder Cup Captan

Is it just me or is he wearing different shirts in each clip?? That would explain why the ball is in a different place on each one. The first one he has a white stripy top on and the second he has a plain yellow one on.
 
Even though its in a foreign language i take it there saying he was in a different position after the stoppage and dropped it in a different position when play resumed.If this is the case its blatant cheating and of course its a bad example to set and should be punished severly.As for the captaincy hard one to call.

Yes Monty's an idiot, yes he's had a few run-ins with regard to drops and rules but now isn't the time to be dragging it back up. Changing now would be a disaster for team moral and would practically hand the cup to the Yanks.

Crucify him afterwards by all means but this close to the match its not a good idea.
 
I must say that I think the first clip in foreign was aggggeeeeesssss ago (monty is slim). Secondly I do think he will be a great captain but as an individual he comes across as a bit of an arse
 
Single mindedness and the pursuit of perfection do not make happy jolly people. The guy has always played stonking golf lets remember 8 order of merit victories and numerous tournament wins. We need to remember that when players are on the golf course they are at work and under a lot of pressure to perform. his golf is tailing off a bit at present and he is surrounded by younger guys who are doing all of the stuff he used to do. Further more unless there is anything to the contrary none of us know Monty on a personal level so cannot and should not judge the guy on the few hours a week we get to see him on the course.He is a winner..end of. He will make a brilliant captain and I for one get a little tired of us British pulling our stars to pieces over things that do not concern us. I for one am behind him regardless of his personal life which should be just that IMO.
Oh and can anyone give me a hand down from this horse,it's bloody high. :D

This happend a couple of years ago and the second clip is the next day when he resumed his round after not marking his ball properly as to where it was, as you can see in the first clip.

How could you not remember where you were????

When David Laws the Sectretary of the Treasurey resigned a few days after the start of the Coliation, people said that as well.

That man realised that he would bring shame to th government and did the right thing.

It takes a special person to do that. We do not have that with Monty.

The captain could be changed now. All the things for the Ryder Cup are almost in place. We need a Man who can lead without all this rubbish running round the Media.

His comments about Woods now have a very hollow ring to them.

The two are totally incomparable. Laws had been in his job 18 days or whatever, Monty's been in charge 18 months. Laws was in an on-going job for the forseeable future(about 18 days! :D), Monty's is a definite fixed-term thing.

Why do we want to shoot ourselves in the feet a few months before the RC? If Monty buggers it up then he's going ot get all he deserves. But, for crying out loud, the "cheating" was years ago and has been dealt with and his current issues are - wait for it - part of his PRIVATE LIFE and do not interest me at all. It doesn't change his ability to lead the European side. It just means he can't keep his tackle in his Budgie-Smugglers!

Like a large peoportion of the adult males in this world!

As for Monty, one of the best, if not THE best Ryder Cup player ever, of course he shouldn't lose the captaincy :mad:

But still being an MP your meant to show that you represent truth honour justice David laws was nowt more than dishonest theving MP being who he was an MP excluded him from a jail sentence ..

fraud is a crime and should be dealt with not overlooked simply because they are MP's

But if he wasn't an MP he would be facing Court ..

A rule for the public and another for the MP's go figure
 
Anyway, back on track...... Monty's the man.

Let's leave him to get on with it and win the Ryder Cup.

Come October the 4th you can hang him out to dry for all sorts of things, tactics, wild card pics, colour of team kit, WAGs outfits and anything else Ryder Cup related, then you can add a bit about his current situation.

With 15-16 weeks before it all kicks off, we need to get behind those leading our team and let them do their job.
