Is this bag too much?

Not price wise.... I'm not paying

The missus has offered to by me a new bag as I could do with a little more I space than my current bag offers, but there's a catch.

She gets to choose the bag and the colour

Here's the bag in question, with her choice of colour:



A little too garish? Good colour scheme? Who cares you're not paying?

I have the same bag in slightly more sedate colours, and it's a fantastic bag! Totally waterproof and seriously the most comfortable bag I have ever carried! I think that colour way looks awesome too!

Not my cup of tea and get the feeling the flies would probably like it, would want the black or white red and black one personally. If its as good as the cart bag then its a great bag though

plus it's waterproof so can't complain!! Oh and it's free!

Arguably the best stand bag out there but I'd go for a different colour personally

I had an earlier version of the same bag (still got it in fact) and in the same colour too !

Carrying a fully waterproof bag just means anything you place against it gets very wet (Ie your back when carrying), the colour next to where it rubs against you seems to fade a little too after some use, lastly when the midges and flies about they absolutely love your bag!! You will return to your bag to find it covered in flying insects, they will follow you in a swarm for the whole day too. You have been warmed.

Technically though it's an awesome bag, lightweight, is waterproof for every pocket and I'd love to have a new one again, but beware the flies !!!

I'm a Sun Mountain user and they make the best, most robust bags out there. You can't go wrong Gareth. The leg mechanism is much better than other brands, and that particular model is waterproof! No one likes a soggy Mars bar.


By the way, the colour is horrific.

Would she let you choose a style and colour of shoe that she would have to wear every day? I don't think so.
Take the bag, say thank you and take it to the shop and exchange it for a nice blue one.

I like yellow but never thought it goes well with grey. Prefer yellow and black or yellow and blue. Having said that however that looks OK to me. Looks like a cracking bag spec wise.
