is there a golf course at centre parcs - sherwood forest?

No, just a range.

The one in Suffolk, Elvedon Forest does. I've played it a few times, the first is nice. There is a silly green on hole 3 or 4 or something. The one down the back is very narrow and tough, broke a run of pars with a bogey there last time :( Finished with a par IIRC, 7 pars 2 bogeys.

I would prefer if they have a simulator, less busy than a course and not weather dependant.

Take your own clubs as theirs are horrific! As are the balls.

I was there in Jan and I'm pretty sure the range has closed now.
Rufford Park(www.ruffordpark.co.uk) is literally a stones throw away and worth a visit but as mentioned there are plenty of decent courses nearby if you fancy something different.

as above, is there a course at sherwood forest centre parcs?

Theres no course Stu, but Rufford is two mins drive away. It is a nice steady course and not to challenging. If you are desperate for a game on a Tuesday or Thursday give us a shout and I will take you to our place, ( norwood park).
That aside there is Oakmere, mr rosecotts place. Nice knock. Mansfield, don't bother Sherwood Forest. North wise you are looking at college pines, OK. And Worksop nice and tight they tell me.

Oh ah there is a nice range at Rufford.

I played a course close to it when I went there years ago.

I cant remember if it had 27 holes or not, but one 9 was called the commanders course and each 9 had a name. Put me out my misery....what course was it?

Sod that, go to the one at the other side of town called Riverbank or summat.
The locals are there with cans of beers shouting and screaming while they lash at their balls, proper golfing experience 😁

Lovely little course, will be there in a week or two, very picturesque and mostly in good condition. Holes from 90 to 160yds so not just pitch and putt. Muntjac dear stroll across the fairway as you take you tee shot!

There is a golfzon simulator at Elveden or there was when I was last there but I haven't used it.
