Is Nikon D3200 a good camera?

I want to buy a Nikon camera for photography, but I don't have any experience of photography. It has Sporting a high-resolution 24.2 MP DX-format CMOS sensor, full HD video recording capability and a lightweight camera body, the D3200 is a very capable DSLR camera for beginner photographers. I'm a retired pro photographer. I have a lot of time for this guy's opinion. https://www.kenrockwell.com/nikon/d3200.htm I used Nikon professionally & found them to perform marginally better than Canon, which one of my pro friends used. The active D Lighting function is particularly useful & prevents blown highlights, the bane of digital photographers.
