Is it possible to set the reviews/photos etc sections?

So that you don't always have to select show threads from the beginning to see them all. When using forums setting the low traffic areas tend to look empty and that isn't going to be useful to new members or those unfamiliar with forums in general.

Just set mine to custom but default really should show more than a few threads in each section I think.

If you go to settings, then general settings (on the left), scroll down until you see "default age cut off" and change this to "1 year", then it should show all threads from the past 12 months (obviously). Hope this helps, if I have mis-read your request then I shall hang my head in shame and banish myself to the naughty step for an hour...

I have done that for myself so there is no age cut off . Just thinking that this should be the default setting for the forum and the users choice to reduce it. A new user unfamiliar with the forum or a guest user will completely ignore the lower traffic sections because they will see very little content. I know the search function will help those who know what they are after but sometime you find what you didn't know you wanted by browsing.

Im pretty sure that the tech guys are looking at some default changes at the back end. Im pretty sure they have concentrated on the bigger stuff first, such as the spam invasion. Im sure we can all see that this has dropped considerably over the last few weeks. Its a good suggestion though..

On a side note.. Are you likely to be up late tonight again? its always good to know that theres another late lurker on the site...
