Is it ok to roll left ankle towards target to initiate downswing?

I've started doing this lately and been getting some fantastic results, never struck my irons so well and consistently. My first move (just before back swing reaches the top) is a conscious roll of the left ankle onto the
left side of heel, then everything else just follows in sync.

Before, my first move was a bump with the hips towards target, never came over so much on the ankle and had a tendency to spin out with my shoulders. This ankle move has eliminated that and my right shoulder no drops lovely
below the left and I finish with a straight left leg and in a reversed 'c' shape (if that makes sense)

I'm worried though over time will this cause any injury with so much added pressure on the left ankle? Can it lead to other problems in the swing?

Cheers in advance.
Jim.
