I noticed that in this months issue's feature "How to find more fairways" that the "whats in my bag" shows 15 clubs, or is it me?

Apologies mate i was being a bit mischevious (sp) there are cases like where u find a club you can put it in ur bag and declare it out of play there would be no pen

There is no problem carrying 15 - so long as you declare one as out of play on the first tee.

Not got the rules to had but keeping to 14 and under while out in a competition at least prevents arguements etc. Who needs that stress right?

Can totally see having a 15th in for practice as a total non-issue.

If you do spot them walking down the 3rd tho with 15 remind them to consult their caddy.

I seem to have in the back of my mind a discussion a while back on this matter on the rules forum and it being said that as 14 clubs are a maximum under the rules and, in matchplay, you agree with your opponent to ignore the 14 club rule then you are both wrong in agreeing to break the rules of golf and should both be dq'd. - I could, of course, be barking mad though
