Is it a return to form or a flash in the pan?

Yesterday went out with no expectation to do well. But everything just came together. I was hitting through the ball and getting very close to the pins. It was sunny but the wind was a 2 club one and making some holes play short and others horrendously long. However none of this seemed to affect my game and I seemed to just play really well. The net result was a 1 over par score and a cut of 2 strokes plus (which is my favourite bit :) my name on the boards!!). Honestly it was like how I remembered I used to play, I am hoping that I can build from this and really get the mojo back. I know I had some luck in places but none of the bouncing of sprinkler heads stuff though. Did not get the chance to warm up either as I was off my schedule after having a little heart to heart with the missus.

Good tactic- great round.

Yes i think the no expectation is the key, but also hitting shots with full commitment as well .. It was a nice feeling, just having an idea and it coming off.
