I'm looking for a new set of irons. My Club Pro keeps banging on about the new Nike ones that have just come on the market. I am currently using Wilson Di6s with some success and I am HC26 (for now). Has anyone used the new Nike isons or advise on a reasonably priced set.

Can't say too much but if you get the mag at the end of this month and look in the forum section the Nike VR full cavity will feature. If you can't wait that long why not go to your pro and get a demo club to try (or vist your local AG)

Don't bother....no really....spend the money on something else. You'll gain nothing by buying a new set of irons.
What you have is great.....

How old are your Di6s? Presumbaly no more than a couple of years?

I'm with RGDave, you're off 26, and without wishing to cause offence, how about spending a bit of that 'new irons' money on lessons instead?

At that handicap, you're going to know sod all difference between a good quality set (which you've got) and a possibly marginally better set.

Why not get some lessons, and once you hit 20 or lower (make it a target), then reward yourself with a swanky new set.

Great post, and makes perfect sense.
I play off 12 and have just spent a lot of money on some nice new Mizunos. Truth be known, whilst I love the looks of them and am hitting them well, I don't think I would be scoring any worse if I were still using my old John Letters Trilogy.
