I was wondering if anybody knows of any hybrids that sort of resemble irons slightly. What I mean is from address the face looks similar to an iron and less like a fairway wood.

I think Adams may have done one or two but not sure of the models, the Ping G15 looks more iron like but surely there must be more than that?

Any ideas

Do you mean like a beefed up iron like the Mizuno MP Fli hi iron or Titliest utility iron or you after more of a rescue style club?

Not really a hybrid but the Cleveland MT? irons are quite hybrid ish-forgiving and workable. I have used the Mizuno MP H4's and they are great -super soft and workable but again more iron than hybrid I suppose.

My friend Tom Lewis has the new Ping driving iron in his bag. Not released yet but believe it's out very soon. Google it.

Or, have you looked at the Adams DHY club?

Have a look at Mizuno JPX Fli-Hi, more of a hybrid than their MP Fli-Hi bu, then, more of an iron than the JPX Hybrid.

Surely those slazenger f.a.s.t clubs that Kenny and Tony used to hawk around the old golf channel would be just the thing ?

For something a bit more upmarket, some callaway fusion (esp the widesole) might be what you'r elooking for. Most of the big oem super-super GI irons are pretty much as fat as hybrids.

if you are just looking for 'a larger toe to the face' then the TM Rescue 11 might be be what you are after - it's still in a lot of bags for a reason!

but it's not like an iron in any other way.
