Iron fitting today

I had promised myself a custom fit if I finished the year as a single fig handicapper, currently at 8 with 1 medal to play so job done.

Today was the day.
Started off on the practice ground with launch monitor and my 6 iron.
Ball speed 114, carry 164 yards but 8000+ spin. X20 tour

Finished after about 2 hours with tm mc with a stiff ns pro shaft. STD lie and STD length.
Stats ends as ball speed 117, carry 182 and spin at 6000 and a far more penetrating flight.

Up to 2 weeks delivery time! Proper chuffed, can't wait to hit them now!!!

Nice one. That nicely illustrates the benefits of CF. That spin rate was very high at 8000+ and you were obviously losing a lot of distance, and would probably lose even more into the wind.

I have always hit a pretty straight ball but into the wind, your right it was balloon city!
That was one of the issues I wanted to fix!
