Does anyone have this? What are they like, any good? May be tempted to get one if they are worth the money, also on the money note, how much do they cost? :)

By all accounts, it is possible to secure your iphone/ipod touch to the putter shaft without coughing for the cradle if you are at all handy. Search the net (golfwrx is a good place to start) for pictures of various solutions.

Oh, it only works on the more recent versions of these things, but I think that it's pretty clear from the ping website what they are.

Don't have an ipod/phone, so haven't tried it myself.

I want one of these and was looking at one at the weekend.

I so need to improve on my putting as it’s letting me down, I’m averaging 37-39 per round :-S

I tried it and its very very good, perfect for winter practice at home or putting green, I mcguyvered it on the shaft- no way I'm paying £25 just to attach it to the shaft!
it showed me how big an arc I had in my putter swing resulting in many missed short putts and poor lag putts, shows acceleration or lack of it, so basically gives great feedback to work on. For free it cannot be beaten

I was going to get the sticky backed plastic and lolly sticks out to attach my phone, but elastic bands work I'll save myself the effort.

Not tried it yet, may give it ago on the office, just 'borrow' the bosses putter :D

It's another gadget to show you what you're doing wrong.
The SAM putting lab does the same sort of thing...
Shows the swing path, putter face at impact, length of swing etc etc.
What do you do then?

At least with the V-Easy you get immediate feedback on what you should be doing rather than what you are doing wrong.

So what you need to do is engineer electric shock technology into the V-easy in the armpits region, then you plug it into the iPing and have various settings:

Good tempo/swing, no shock.

Bad tempo, little shock

Really bad tempo: pain.

Soon make you improve. I'm just brainstorming.

:D
