iPhone DVD converter

Inspired by Crap Hacker's intellectual humour thread I'd like to convert some of my DVDs to watch on my iPhone (fawlty towers, blackadder etc.)

Anyone recommend any software?

I bought magic dvd ripper. It's easy to use and is preloaded with different profiles (e.g. iphone).

Is another good one for video files you already have on your PC.

AirVideo is a great app for iPod/iPad which streams videos on your PC wirelessly (or over 3G) and "live converts" them into "apple" format as you watch. Great if you don't want to take up space on your iPod/Pad.

I used a double(-trouble) method. I rip using DVD Fab and then put it all back together using handbrake.

I do it all on an old XP desktop, it makes one hell of a mess on the hard drive. The files are also massive.

Mostly, I can't be arsed.

I use Xilisoft DVD to MP4 Converter can be found HERE very easy to use, must be I can use it, and can be found cheaper if you know where to look, ( all legal )
