Just had a quick look re the launch date of the new iPhone, and it mentions on a couple of sites that it will cost about £800. Flippin Eck that's a lot of coin for a phone.
Will hang on til that's out and hopefully pick up a iPhone 7 that's a bit cheaper.
Anyone got itch feet waiting for the new phone to come out.

If that is true then Apple are having a larf. Nobody in their right mind would pay that.

You'll be very surprised the amount of people who will pay it.

I'm not a fan of iPhones.

Maybe it is priced so that they can shift more contracts with 'free' or cheaper phones?

Some of it will be down to the recent changes in Exchange rates from GBP to USD, but even without that it is still quite a jump.

It's this very reason that turned me off of Apple products.... I still can't believe the amount of money people spend on them, not forgetting they still pay for them during the contract period.

Use my phone for work so get the latest and best yearly

Definite increase in performance yearly, battery and phone speed detoriate from the day you get them

I've just refused an upgrade as they were asking daft money...I renegotiated a service only deal with 3 times the data for £5 less a month than the previous service (non handset) element of the monthly cost... I'll change the handset when a decent deal appears.

Previous week I made a "cut the cost or shove it" call to Sky who then halved my subs for 18 months..

Saw something online where the 64gb version was going to be £890 and the 512gb version over £1,300, if those are going to be the retail prices, you're going to need your bumps felt if you're considering paying £1,300 for a phone.

There will be many willing to pay something like £80 for a 2 year contract, they get the latest whizz, the phone compaines get their profit, everyone is happy.
For what its worth, I pay £5 for a sim only monthly non-contract.
