Apart from the screen jumping all over the place ie behind the keyboard, so that you can't see what your writing

The main problem is that after so long nothing appears. Not sure if its time related or number do characters or something else.

Maybe something to do with the auto-save?
whatever it is, I shall have to resort to being a lurker if I can't fix it, because taking multiple posts to get my point across is doing my nut in.
im on chrome at the moment, but it does the same thing on safari, albeit without the screen jumping so much.
as you can see it also screws up the auto spelling and punctuation correct.
why has it let me type loads mo this time? Damn technology :angry:

It happens to me too, well, i say 'it'.
When I choose 'quick reply' i'd say 95% of the time i can only hit one letter and the keyboard drops down. I have to repeat this for about 7/8 letters before the keyboard stays on. If I 'go advanced' however, this rarely happens.

Had that one and solved it.
If the 'NEXT' button (on iPad on the left at the top of the keyboard) is lit the keyboard will disappear as soon as you try to type. Press NEXT and it won't happen
I've sort of solved my problem as well. If you leave the text box you can't return to it again to type more, which is a bit of a pain when you have to scroll to see what you've already typed.

I have just started having problems with the iPad posting. It stops typing for some reason and i cant correct it.also is there a way to upload pics from an iPad I just can't seem to do it? Cheers

That's the kiddie! It's when you leave the box you're typing in for whatever reason, you then can't back back to it and start typing again.
Annoying isn't it?
As for pictures... when I tried it, I clicked the picture icon in the row of icons above the text box and got asked whether I wanted to take a picture now or pick one from the iPad. Seemed to work ok for me.

Yes, but I've partly learned to cope with it, and partly learned to live with it.
It's only in the evening when I use it, during the day I'm on a PC.

Strange that. I normally log on in the evening for a browse, never had anything like that happen.

I am still getting issues, if I type something want to go back and edit it then it will not let me. Then have to go advanced and do the same thing then view post and re edit it again. If I got it right first time I wouldn't have an issue but that's never going to happen.

No other issues at all for me with the iPad.
I'm replying on my iPad (ancient original model) and seems ok but will ask the tech guys to have a look and see if they have had issues with any other of our sites and can suggest anything

We have had our tech team look at this and they cannot replicate any of the problems noted on here.
Are you using safari as the browser and do you have the most recent updates loaded onto your iPad?

Tom, Yes to both questions although it hasn't happened over the last couple of days. Will update you if the problems continue.
