Depends when you are coming.., its under snow at the moment, but even if its not i can be very wet in places.
in summer its a nice course, best in Inverness anyway.
Personally i would play Royal Dornoch, Tain an hour away, Fortrose 20 mins and Nairn/ Nairn Dunbar half an hour. Castle Stuart opens at the end of March so that's an option as well.

Basically exactly as above, but to add that it's short, tight, has a ridiculous uphill par 3 and the bunkers are filled with something akin to gravel more than sand.
