Managed a very close win today in the 1/4 final. All square going up the last and won it with a par.
Semi final tomorrow morning and (hopefully) the final in the afternoon.

Trouble is it's my birthday tomorrow and with the England game tonight going to be hammered and no sleep!!!

On the upside, my putter was a revelation today.......one-putted the 1st 5 greens. :thup:

Was having a bit of trouble with the shortish ones (2-5 feet) so put a WINN oversized grip on my old TM ghost which helped tremendously...trouble was the head then felt too light so bought some stick on lead weights from Sports Direct.

Ended up putting all 8 weights on (3 grammes each) and now it feels perfect. Tried it yesterday with Pieman & Murph Phil and was just starting to get the hang of it. This morning I only made one bad putt........very happy!!!

Luckily he's in the other semi......I've got a 20 year old 6 h/capper ( who beat a scratch player today 4&2..... )
