Internet tee off times

Got a free pass for the afternoon off the Mrs so going for a round in the sunshine.

Anyone on here used teeofftimes.co.uk or any similar sites?? How reliable are they? Don't want to book one and pay only to be told when I get to the course that that tee off time had already been taken or that there's a comp being played that the site didn't know about.

Have used teeofftimes several times and never had any problems at all. If youre that worried you could always find a club on there then phone the pro shop and get them to match the price

never had an issue with over booking.

perhaps it would be a good idea to choose your course, ring them to confirm the teetime is free brfore booking and paying for it online. It can take upto an hour for the tee time to be confirmed, if you don't have an hour to wait for confirmation ring the booking firm up and they will confirm within minutes

Cheers guys I think ill give the site a try. I'm guessing I book online then just tell the pro shop I've done it on the website?

I've had problems with it. Book it online, get to the course and they have no record of me booking. Make sure you print out the email and take it with you.

Use teeofftimes .com. Really good, never a problem

Yes tee off times and direct tee times are both excellent. Used them loads and only once had a problem with double booking and got on 20 mins later. Can't fault either.

Use them regular without any probs. some great deals to be had too, I always take the booking reference number with me.

Used them once to get 50% off a green fee.

Got to pro shop and was told, "Sorry, that's wrong, it's should be full price".

I reply, "But the site clearly says half price and here's my booking ref?"

"Sorry, but we don't control the system...". Seeing as we had travelled 40mins to get there, we felt obliged to pay under protest.

May we were unlucky, but definitely worth ringing ahead to see if price reductions are honoured.

And no, I haven't used them again.

imo, your contract was with the booking site not the pro, he is obliged to accept the voucher
