interminable wait for new irons!

got custom fit and put an order in for a set of Burner 2.0's last Wednesday. No lie adjustments, just half an inch to be added on the shaft and grips thickened. Chased up the shop today to see when I might expect them, Taylor Made say another 10 days!

Seems rather a long time, anybody got any experience of this and maybe know how I might be able to get the order speeded up? Got my lads annual golfing trip first weekend of June and want to spend a bit of time getting to know my new weapons before then.
 
I dont think 10 days is too bad... I think Callaway make you wait alot longer if other posts are anything to go by. My Mizunos were about 5 working days.
 
yeah but its been a week and a half since I ordered them - another 10 days mean that's the best part of a month!

I know I'm being impatient - just want my new toys!!

I was custom fitted for the new Mizuno JPX800's on the 4th April. Having placed the order with local pro the same day I am still waiting for them to arrive
Mizuno have problems with the supply of heads which cannot meet the demand. Am told the heads arrived last week.

I did think that these problems might be down to the terrible events in Japan but other scources tell me that this has been a problem for Mizuno in the past when launching a new product range.

I hope i don't have to wait as long as you, i ordered a set of jpx pro's 2 weeks ag and still haven't got them.

I hate waiting for gear aswell.
 
I ordered some custom fit Titleist AP2's just before Xmas through my golf range Pro.

He faxed the order on the Tuesday and they arrived on the carrier on Thursday - and there was snow everywhere!

I really didn't want to hear this!! I ordered my JPX800 pro's last Tuesday. Was hoping to receive them in time for the Beau Desert meet........
 
Great News!!! My new Mizuno JPX800's arrived today having ordered them on 4th April. Have been straight down to Pro Shop to collect them.
He told me that Mizuno have had awful supply problems with the JPX800 heads but that these were now in stock.
Hopefully Rick you will not have to wait as long as I have.
 
Are you the same guy who bought the Taylormade Tour Preferred irons?

Sidney & Sidneyb are very similar and two threads regarding TM clubs?
