Forgot to mention this,

Whilst I was shopping for my putter the other day the guy in American Golf asked me if I fancied hitting the new AP2 that they had a demo for.

Got the club, put a ball down and it didnt seem right at address but hey-ho I thought lets hit a couple.

Wasnt hitting the ball very well at all, nasty actually.

So double-checked the spec on the label on top of the grip and it was standard length and lie.

Didnt believe it, said to the guy in the shop that it wasnt right (I thought it was 2* upright) so he checked it out and indeed it was.

Now, what if you had bought a set off the shelf? Could they be wrong too?

Hmmmmmmmmm

My friend is a club builder and I took my i20's to him to check. 5 iron was 2 degrees stronger and 1 degree flat instead of 3 degrees upright and my gap wedge was 53 degree instead of 50.

He said that he has never had a set of clubs where every club was spot on with lie and loft. However, he did say taylormade where the closest and most consistant
