Inter Club Competition V K Club

Put my name down for one of the inter club competitions-Had our first 9 hole get together this evening-We are playing the K CLub in the first round 2 legged affair and we get a practis round at the K Club this sunday on the Ryder Cup course.

Hope i play well in practise and make the team.

K Club is good but not as good as you would imagine from the telly - you're not blown away like at St Andrews for example(I mean it wouldn't be a patch on Royal Ascot.....) and I think certainly not worth the money (someone confirm it's about 350-400 euros?).

I have played it a few times and it's actually quite an easy course just very long - they've changed to course to be the course the Pro's play since the Ryder Cup and 16/17/18 is just an awesome finish and as Mr Bjorn knows anything can happen!!

SammeBee have been there to see the European Open and agree its not a blow your mind course. Its also over priced.

But great to get to play the course for free, hopefully twice if Sundays practise goes well.
