After taking part in the poll asking the value of your clubs, one thing struck me, is my Insurance sufficient?
Other question is, I am certain my bag and contents are covered, but what about my "other" spare clubs, are they covered on my house insurance?
Any advice appreciatted.

either look at your policy or a quick call to your insurers to ask the question. Not sure I follow about your 'other' spare clubs?

Pretty sure the insurance companies are not concerned with WITB or the 14 club rule.

They only care about the total value of the clubs. :)

When I reviewed my policy, I listed the clubs in my bag plus equipment, my primary concern was car being broken into while away playing etc,
So none of the other clubs I have gathered over the years are listed on my Golf Policy.
I have mistakenly or not thought they would be covered on my household policy as they are in a cupboard in the house, just not sure

Anything in your house will be covered by your contents insurance other than named exclusions within your policy.

My equipment is named as a valuable item covered when away from home to the value of £2k, its listed on my policy in the same way as watches, rings etc.

This is what I mentioned in the other thread and could catch people out if they don't declare an expensive item.
