I've got the AG policy but primarily because I know the manager of my local sotre really well and he produced the pre-requisite letter stating he had checked all my equipment and each item was worth xx

Funny enough my so called bag includes a top of the range Callaway FT1, top of the range Callaway X20 tours, a Scotty Cameron putter, it is a £150 tour bags, I have 4 pairs of Footjoy and Adidas shoes (all £100+) and loads of sundries like umbrella, gloves etc.

It is a total fabrication but has been signed and stamped as being authentic so should the worse happen and allowing for them not coughing up the full monty quoting "wear and tear" the residual loss will still see me right

I have golf insurance with E&L -someone on here recommended them, haven't needed to use it, touch wood, but it does give peace of mind. Wouldn't mind using the hole-in-one drinks bill insurance though!
Also have house and car and dental insurance so surely I'm covered if the 'wands' ever got nicked.

I have liability through my club membership.

I have just cancelled my golf-shield policy as when your gear gets nicked, they pay out but then claim the payout back through your house insurance. This stinks in my eyes.
