Insulting toilet furniture

I've been suffering from a spell of the unmentionables again & went to the range in an effort to eliminate them. Imagine my shock when I visited the gents & saw "Armitage Shanks" emblazoned on the china. I thought that Armitage wouldn't appreciate being lampooned in this way & it didn't make me feel much better knowing that I wasn't the only one. Totally insensitive, I intend taking the matter up with the management.

Yours is the 4th golf club I know of with this 'faux pas' of loo furniture!

Always amuses me (doesn't insult!) when I see it, but that's certainly the right place for that word - not on the course!

Oh and I've played with a guy named Armitage too!
