Around 6 or 7 years ago, I pulled or tore something in the back of my right shoulder. I was in agony, so against my better judgement as it was out of hours, I went up the hospital. Only to be sat there for four hours and when finally seen given a handful of anti-inflams. Thing is it's never really gotten better and every 12 months or so it 'goes'. Usually doing the most mundane things.
So getting up this morning for a decent club comp it's happened again, (putting paid any chance I had of posting on cmacs much maligned thread!) pain normally stays around 4/5 days then sorts itself out. (Hillside on Friday is a bit of a worry)
I know the obvious thing is to go the Docs, but not keen on them, they always find something wrong! So, Anyone with any similar ailments or more helpful, a decent remedy/cure?

cheers dave

Surely that's a good thing?
One only goes to the doctor when there's a problem that needs identifying and sorting ....................... surely?
I'd be worried if my doctor DIDN'T find anything wrong when I was suffering.
Just go and see him, or suffer for another 6 or 7 years.

Slime.

Go to the doctor!

I had osteopathy for a bad back which wouldn't get better, after paying out shed loads I had a scan and found it was arthritis and since had both replaced, the osteopath would still be giving me massages now and happily taking my money!

Find out what's wrong and have it sorted - see a doctor!

Surely that's not the osteopaths fault though.

I figure if I have over a dozen visits to an osteopath and he keeps saying that he knows exactly what's wrong, and that he will sort the problem out, then I'd have been far better taking the advice that I've given Davemc1 - go to the doctor!
