Was home from work today & so was the Mrs.
After taking the dog out this morning I thought I wonder if I can sneak off to the course?
No chance, she was having non of it & it started raining anyway, so by this afternoon I was well bored.

So I took some practice swings in the living room & I got a bit too enthusiastic, so tomorrow I have got a nice 6 iron shaped hole in the ceiling to repair. Oops.

On the plus side, I know from the shape of the hole that the club face was open on my release, so at least my swing is coming along nicely.

We have low ceilings and so even a 9 iron is touch of go especially with my high finish. Thought I was going to have a moment myself a few months back. Hitting chips onto the sofa and got one too well and it went over the top and headed towards the window. Was waiting for a shattering noise but it just caught the window sill and an ornament (which I'd hated for years) and it took all the impact. The ornament didn't survive to recount the tale although it was 2 days before HID noticed it had gone
