I just wanted to bring Inbee Park's 3rd major of the year to forum's attention. It keeps her on course for the Grand Slam, although that is made harder as the Women's tour has 5 major's this year. I know women's golf goes under the radar most of the time with me as guilty as any for not paying it more attention but you have to appreciate what she is doing in the women's game. If this was a man, I'm sure there would be pages written about the achievement.

So hat's off to you Inbee

Good shout Mike  As I don't have Sky it's difficult enough following the men's game but have to say her achievements are pretty damn special. Hats off to you Inbee

she's short as well! her golf length I mean, even Mickey went on about how short she was..... but accurate:thup:

lesson for us all I think- going to try deciding on the club I want then taking 1 more, see if strikes improve

I have to day I totally agree.

I watched all the coverage Sky had on this event and thought she was exceptional.

It must be a 'tradition' on the Ladies Tour to soak the winner as every event I've seen, they winner has been half drowned after the final putt :D

I don't mind her swing a bit unorthodox but shows that function over style is more important. She is a hell of a putter and would love to see her complete the SLAM

makes for good viewing, I hope that the BBC pick up the good coverage for the womens open. There's a big chance that she might take a further step to history and we miss it cos songs of praise is due on at 5:30.

Great play from Park.

But what's happened to Yani Tseng:
I thought she was the dominant force in the Women's game..?

Shes in a major slump at the moment. Think its been about a year and a half, could be wrong tho. Just cant seem to string a couple of good rounds together.
