Hi All,

For the previous 3 years I have managed to scrape in the 3 required cards to keep my handicap valid. However I didn't managed this last year... I have a question on how the inactive handicap is 'recalculated', I can't seem to find the info anywhere.

Currently I am an inactive 4.7, and have posted 1 round of 10+ :-( If my next 2 rounds are say 10+ will my handicap be 10? or would it be 5.0? I maybe accused of being a bandit if I can practice and play a bit more then have a couple of good rounds playing off 10....

Cheers

You're confusing the words inactive and invalid. Your handicap doesn't change numerically when it becomes inactive - all that happens is that you could become ineligible to play in certain competitions (Opens certainly). If you submit 3 cards within buffer zone, you become active at the same level as before. Three rounds above buffer and you will increase 0.3.
