Did anyone else hear the pillock when Sergio teed off at the first? The infection seems to be spreading across the Atlantic.

If I was there with umbrella in hand I would have to deliver a short sharp jab into the ribs with it. WHAT A PLONKER!!!

I so wish the powers that be would do something about this stupid yankee doodle thing.

Suppose its not as bad as "Yaba Daba Doo" or "Your my world Tiger"

It has to be one of the most annoying outcries you hear at a competiton like this... Much better to cry Shot sir, still anoying, but doesn't grate on the nerves....

What's even sillier is when they Shout In the Hole on a parr 5 when even Boo Weekly Or Bubba Watson don't stand a chance of reaching the green let alone the hole...lol And they are usually shouting it before the player has even completed their swing, I wonder how many miss-hit shots have been caused by these idiots screaming inane coments...lol

You Know when you enter the course & see the signs saying no mobiles & no cameras, there should also be one with NO shouting IN the Hole

I missed that one.

Was it a Brit who shouted? I wouldn't be surprised if it was one of our cousins from across the pond.

"Jolly well get in the receptacle!!!" would have been the cry from a Brit, surely.

"Was it a Brit who shouted?"
Sounded like a British voice. Didn't have the bravura of our colonial cousins.

yeah, it did sound like an english bloke....which saddens my heart no end. The stewards should the the right, nah...duty to eject anyone uttering such a stupid, brainless, idiotic, moronic, loutish, brutish and down right plebish statement....

A youth shouted it when I was in the grandstand after Rose teed off in a "I've got a bet with my mates" kind of way.

He probably thought he was being ironic but it still sent a shiver up my spine

Does anyone else get the urge to punch the face of those that say it?

Get used to it.
We're generally several years behind the Yanks, what with murder, drugs etc.

I reckon it'll be commonplace on the British competitions before too long...........I hope I'm wrong!
