In contrast from the other week...Tonight at the range was brilliant!

My swing seems to be getting there, finally and from what I can tell, I'm no longer coming over the top.

Still don't have the consistency, but the beginnings of a real swing are there (I think ) Proper chuffed!

Might even crack open a Corona to celebrate!

Nice one, I have been getting well annoyed of late with inconsistency at the range, friday I felt I was getting there, well with my irons at least, driver is another matter

played sunday and it took 9 holes and the rain to find 'my swing' I hit em awesomely, my wedges were good all round but 4-9 were very good and didnt want the round to end, played a 6 iron to the green on the 18th to within 8 foot, considering I am a beginner it felt amazing

its great when the practice and the potential we know we have pays off, shame about the pants shots in between lol

Any excuse with you for a beer. That is great news matey and reward for the grief and misery along the way. Of course you need to get out on the course and try it and not be tempted to go back to old ways if it goes wrong. It may not be pretty initially but think of the rewards down the line once its embedded

Also, I must take this opportunity to thank Bob for all his help with this so far.

Itching to get back out on the course now and try it. And trust me, crap or not, I'm not going back to my over the top swing.

Theres no better feeling when you have spent months, fixing faults and slowly everything starts to feel normal.

Nice swing Aztecs, apart from standing too close to the ball, standing open, swinging out to in, wearing jeans and a silly hat it's quite good!
