In car camera

Can anyone recommend a video camera to record, for insurance purposes, in car footage. I dont want to spend a fortune. Thanks Guys.

No personal experience but a nephew has such a device fitted to his vehicle... He has told me that he previously had a cheap 'n cheerful e-bay sourced one that worked for about three months... When he came to replace it he chose to spend a bit more on his current one which [he advises] is a whole lot better... According to his Mum its a Presstigo [Sp?] purchased from Amazon for about fifty notes...

It may not only record from impact sensors but it is a cheaper alternative by recording all your trips in the car.
