My new driver is now residing in the bag - got the call yesterday, picked it up today - not bad seeing as I only went for the fitting last Friday!! Well done Titleist!

Anyway, I've got the chance of a solo round tomorrow but I'm in 2 minds as to whether to go on the course or go to the range and "warm" the 910 up. I'm playing friday anyway so it's going to get a chance before the weekend but...

Course or range tomorrow?

Range for me. I'd like a nice relaxed session learning how to swing it and trying to shape shots with it. Good chance to build a nice tempo and swing with it and unleash it on the unsuspecting Fragger on Friday

I would always hit the course - if its quiet you can hit a couple of each tee for practice. Just dont expect miracles, but you may be presently surprised!!

Hitting a fairway will b far more satisfying than pounding balls at the range IMO

I'd get to the course. My mate is a Pro and is always taking about how he once cracked the face of a new driver with a hard as nails range ball. He also reckons that range balls with their hard and worn surfaces not only damage the club face but give you false feedback about ball flight etc. Don't get him started on hitting off a rubber tee either...
